The Oyo State Police Command on Sunday expressed
its readiness to pay anybody who could volunteer information on the
whereabouts of the factional leaders of the proscribed state council of
the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Lateef Akinsola
(a.k.a Tokyo) and Mr. Lamidi Mukaila (a.k.a. Auxiliary).
The Command said information on the whereabouts of each of the wanted union leaders would attract N500,000 reward.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adisa Bolanta, said this in Ibadan, the state capital.
The CP said the command had pasted photographs of the union leaders in strategic places in the state capital for proper identification.
Akinsola and Lamidi were earlier declared wanted for their alleged involvement in the NURTW fracas that claimed many lives in the state capital.
