Jonathan votes in Bayelsa

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday cast his vote in his hometown, Otuoke, in Bayelsa State at exactly 12.35 p.m. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that his wife, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, voted about two minutes later at the same polling unit. The President told newsmen later that the turnout for the National Assembly election was encouraging and gave the assurance that subsequent elections would also be smooth.
