Jega decries ‘false’ media reports

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, has decried false and misleading reports in some unnamed newspapers. Jega, who addressed a press conference in Abuja in Saturday, said many of the reports were capable of endangering the polity. He said the reports pointed to non-existent rifts in INEC, meetings between him and various politicians, noting that such stories were unexpected of Nigerian journalists.
