Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Sunday tactically
avoided the governor’s office in the state secretariat, Agodi vacated by
his predecessor on Friday.
According to the schedule of programme released by the transition committe, the handing over ceremony was supposed to hold in the executive council chambers of the governor’s office but a canopy was erected at the parking lot where the short ceremony was held.
Also, the luncheon fixed for the Banquet Hall of the Government House was shifted to the Ibadan Civic Centre owned by an industrialist, Chief Kola Daisi.
Daisi is the father-in-law of one of Ajimobi’s daughters.
