The Labour Party candidate for Kolokuma/Opokuma Federal Constituency of Bayelsa Mr. Udengs Eradiri, in the April general elections, was on Wednesday arraigned in a Yenagoa Chief Magistrates’ Court for false information.
Eradiri, a former Secretary-General of IjawYouth Council Worldwide, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.
The charge read that Eradiri, on January 24 at Yenagoa Magisterial District gave false information to Independent National Electoral Commission that he attended Agudama Comprehensive High School, Agudama/Ekpetiama from 1989 to 1996 with the intention of causing the disqualification of one Ifiemi Ikpakpai.
