Oyinlola’s administration spelt disaster for Osun – ACN

Osun State Action Congress of Nigeria has described the seven and a half years spent by the Olagunsoye Oyinlola administration in office as disastrous.
State Chairman of the ACN, Mr. Adebiyi Adelowo, on Tuesday, said the rot and decadence left behind by the Oyinlola government was unprecedented in the history of the state.
He said, “May Osun State never have a government like the Oyinlola administration again. The Rauf Aregbesola administration met decay in all strata of socio-economic endeavour.
“The state’s schools were not better than pigsties. The hospitals were mere kiosks where patients were treated. The roads were impassable and the morale, confidence and hope of the people had diminished.
“While this rot and pervasion persisted and Osun people grumbled under the jackboot of government inaction, the PDP-led government turned deaf ears to the pleas of the people for better governance.”
But, the Director of Publicity, Osun Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Adeolu Adeyemo, on Tuesday, said the ACN-led administration has failed the masses.
Adeyemo said, “The people of Osun are now seeing the difference. What has the Aregbesola government done in the last six months? The people are tired of empty promises.”
