Doctors working for the Lagos State Government have suspended their 8-weeks old strike action.
According to the Secretary of the Medical Guild, Dr. Taofik Majolagbe, the strike was suspended following the promise by the Lagos State Government to pay the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure [CONMESS] in full which has been the bone of contention.
The doctors are expected to resume at their various duty posts on Monday March 28.
Meanwhile, nurses in the state are still on strike over issues of welfare and what they described as over taxation.
